Complementary Colors – Bhuwan Giri
The person behind the lens for this capture is Bhuwan Giri, a UG final Year VET Student currently studying at Agriculture and Forestry University, Chitwan, Nepal. Photography is a passion for Bhuwan and now he is looking forward to making photography as his profession as well. This picture was taken 2 years ago when the photographer was at Kathmandu to meet his friend. Bhuwan Giri explain s about the shot, “I was enjoying the sight from my friend’s rooftop suddenly my eyes stopped at the window of a nearby house.” He further explains, “This old man was looking out from the window. I quickly managed to take my camera out and take that shot he noticed me.”
Concept Behind the picture
In this picture, there are complementary colors green and red. The photographer has used the window as a frame, which has given a great composition and the eye contact by the old man makes it more amazing. This picture was selected among the top 10 in a competition ‘Complementary Colors’ in photography group in Facebook Nepalese in Photography.
